Guidelines Brief

These guidelines amplify and explain obligations that the concerned sectors are required to comply with under the Money Laundering & Proceeds of Crime Act [Chapter 9:24] and the Bank Use Promotion Act [Chapter 24.24].

The guidelines are issued in terms of the Money Laundering & Proceeds of Crime Act and are legally binding. They lay down the minimum standards on Anti Money Laundering and Combating Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) measures for these sectors.
